Taste of Mediterranean! -- Greece comes to Anderson in October!
ANDERSON, SC – The 19th annual Greek-Mediterranean Pastry & Food Bazaar is presented October 25-27 by The Shepherd’s Guild. The event was formerly the Anderson Greek Festival, the event originally started to assist in building a chapel and dining room at a local monastery.
One of the few Greek bazaars/festivals not directly under a parish, the bazaar does however use the kitchen at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Greenville, South Carolina. The event was downsized from a festival due to the number of volunteers from the Anderson Greek community. The Shepherd’s Guild remains delighted to present the 2024 Greek-Mediterranean Pastry & Food Bazaar for the mission of hospitality, fellowship and service (stewardship). Proceeds benefit outreach causes.
The festival hours: Friday, October 25, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Saturday, September 26, 11 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday, September 27, 12:00 pm to 2:30. For menu and pricing please visit www.greekmedfest.com
The Shepherd’s Guild was founded on September 30, 1999 as a non-profit service organization in Anderson, South Carolina by Bill Stathakis.
